Basic Information
The Guardians were brought together by Odin to battle those threats that would overwhelm individual meta-heroes. By pooling their individual talents the Guardians can better protect the city of Port Liberty and the world at large from meta-threats. Thanks to Odin, the team is well supplied with information and their focus on training and teamwork aids greatly in their mission. They were disbanded a few after their founding due to internal reasons. Perhaps in the future the group may come together again.
The Guardpost
It really didn't look like a whole lot. In fact, on the surface, it still doesn't look like much. A run down shack within the woods surrounding a Westville Park outside of Port Liberty. The surface structure, small with only two rooms appears to be an old maintenance building. The building and land had been up for auction for several months before they were purchased by Jennifer Wright and Hayden Mallory. They had learned something about the land that gave it more value than just a 'fixer upper' in the woods. It was really a cover for an old, abandoned CIA base. Jennifer's connections had given them the lead on it and Hayden's computer work helped the Guardians secure a permanant headquarters. A bit of stealthy work and computer espionage and any details about the existance of the base vanished from government records. All that was left now was to move Hayden's equipment from his own hidden room and fix up the new place.
A covering of ivy clothes the shack, acting as a sentry in communication with Lady Yggdrasil when she is there. Entering the shack gives visitors just what they would expect, a run-down space that needs a lot of work before it could remotely be considered useful. Appearances can be terribly decieving. There is a secret entrance, a hydraulic door that can be opened in the floor which leads to the ladders into the labyrinth beneath. Anyone without the proper security clearance that attempts entering the base activates the hidden defense system. Blinding lights fire-off in rapid succession, meant to overload all of the target's visual senses, redering them useless. For those who have the clearance to enter, the defense system shouldn't be a problem, and the hidden security cameras give a fair warning of new arrivals coming from above.
The Bunker. The labyrinth. The lower level. The Guardpost. The ladders lead down into the stairwell entrance. When the Guardians first took possession of the old bunker, it wasn't much. It was dusty, dirty, and needed some serious work. A bit of cleaning and a new paintjob did wonders for the place.
