Biography

D.L. Stalker grew up a petty criminal in New York City. He was the kind of kid that would torture animals just to feel their fear. He rather enjoyed feasting on these animals when they at last expired.

Shortly after his 21st birthday, Stalker kidnapped a little child and tortured him until the police found him. There was a standoff that ended with Stalker killing a police officer.

He ended up in prison, but he did not stay a part of the general population for very long. Stalker's cell mate attempted to molest him. In response to this Stalker murdered his cell mate and ate parts of his flesh. He ended up in solitary confinement, and eventually death row.

Stalker was due to be executed, but then came the Ring of Destiny.

The morning that his least meal was to be delivered, there was nothing to be found inside his cell except for a sticky black oil. There was no sign of how he Stalker. In a strange turn of events, a workman that was brought in to clean up the mysterious oil stain vanished, never to be seen again. He was possessed, becoming Stalker's first host.

D.L. Stalker's body mutated into a strange shadowy oil. Without a human host he is nothing more then a shapeless puddle.

Desperately missing his human form and the chaos that he could cause, Stalker quickly learned how to find the weak and to take them over. Over the span of years he learned a range of new skills and powers.

His psychotic desires are now greatly amplified. He is on a major power trip, feeling invinciple in this new form. He gladly uses a host and then abandons them when things get boring or dangerous.

Notes

This is my attempt at creating a Venom/Carnage type bad guy for this game. It is adapted from a Venom build that I found on this website. [1]

Stalker's host usually tends to be weak thugs or homeless people. The stats represent Stalker in this form. I'm unsure what his stats would be like without a host, but I tend to see him as unable to really do much more then move and hide.

I have no idea what it would be like if Stalker tried to possess a PC character. If anyone would be interested in creating their own Spidey-esque Black Costume saga...Go for it. I just don't know how it would be done, stats-wise.

He can make himself look pretty much like anyone he wants and he is highly skilled at going unseen. Yet he is known to intentionally slip and let people see him as he stalks him. All the better to make them fear him if they can see him coming. When he is on the attack he tends to be a black smooth shadow figure with no real features on his body. A shadow monster.

I imagine that he is a creature of the night. Like a vampire he is extremely vulnerable to fire and sunlight. Either could kill him. Not sure of how this would work. Someone with a better grasp on the game mechanics can rule on this someday.
