Slow Burn has the ability to both increase friction to the point of combustion, and reduce it to the point of rapid acceleration. He is only seventeen, his activities typically more cruel than criminal and most usually occurring in the southeastern US and along the eastern seaboard. He is known to be the younger brother of Lord Blackblade, though they have only appeared together a handful of times. Their first costumed action together was when they trounced half of the particularly successful Notre Dame football team for reasons unknown.

While working with the teenaged meta-criminal group known as the Heirs, Slow Burn was captured - and subsequently freed by the demon Oblivion. His second incarceration, at the beginning of February '13, may be more permanent ...
