Little is currently known of Brock Johnson, the super-powered hitman now known as Granite. What is known of him comes from extensive interrogation after his first arrest under the alias of Granite. He is a meta-human given power through the same Ring of Destiny that provided numerous other powers to people. He was employed by a Port Liberty mob boss. The name of the mob boss was never revealed by Granite. He is currently serving time for kidnapping, assault and battery.
In the news
Granite was apprehended after a fight with Detective Renard Boulder of the PLPD, Mirage and Pyre. Granite proved to be too much for the three of them. However when Detective Boulder slammed his unmarked Police Car into Granite at high speed, it managed to knock the enforcer out long enough to apprehend him.

Description of Powers and Abilities
The hitman known as Granite has been seen exhibiting a couple of super-human abilities. His most notable ability is to weather an assault from numerous hand guns. Bullets seemingly cause Granite little harm. Though he's resistant to their injury, he doesn't absorb the kinetic force. So struck in the right spot or with a strong enough gun, Granite may be knocked backwards or have his legs shot out from under him, etc. The ability to endure harm in the form of physical blows and bullets does not make Granite invulnerable. When he is struck hard enough or in the right location, he can be neutralized. A significant blow to the head can stun him and even knock him out. Energy blasts, though not used on him before, could theoretically hit Granite with more force than a punch or a hangun, thus possibly harming him.
Granite also exhibited what is referred to as Super-Human Strength. Granite is a massively build individual, larger than some professional bodybuilders. This is probably a side effect from when he acquired his powers. The extent of Granite's strength has not been tested and is unconfirmed. It was reported that Granite can leap distances of several yards. A favored tactic Granite uses is to leap into the air and towards an opponent in an effort to come crashing down upon them.
