It's always the quiet ones - authorities pegged the young light-manipulating sorcerer known as Glare as a serious concern. Glare was seen in a number of low-profile thefts in Britain and scattered European destinations; he's also associated with other "Heirs" in committing meta-crimes on the eastern seaboard. He is possibly associated with an ancient column of Scottish mystics. He was captured and unmasked as twenty-one year old Leigh Tabari, a physics student who, on his mother's side, was heir to Scotland's Chisholm family - and its fortune. He subsequently died in the hospital, after being put there by a group of alleged demons.

Rumors - one out of the mouth of VA governor's son Edward Thorndike, no less - suggested that, much like former Heirs leader Etherwight, Glare wasn't entirely hindered by death ... and were thrown into confusion when Leigh Tabari walked calmly - alive - into Edinburgh and turned himself in. Between one thing and another, it looks as if Tabari is simply going to resume his life as if nothing had happened, criminal or otherwise ...
