The elusive Etherwight was the leader of the group of young metahuman criminals known as the Heirs. A figure without physical form and substance, she defended herself through a chill touch with multiple debilitating effects. Known to the public as Guinevere Laudine, the recently discovered heiress to the Fairfax fortune, she dramatically unmasked herself at a gathering in Port Liberty in late January, abducted the son of the governor of Virginia, and was subsequently tracked down by metahumans and turned over to the authorities. She claims she was the ghost of Portia Fairfax, who died in 1929, and that these vigilantes restored her to life. Certainly she seems to have lost her powers of incorporeality ...
