Editing Policy

From C2Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The staff at C2Wiki want you to feel free to edit various pages. If a page is unprotected, you should feel free to edit it if you have something important to add. It's what the wiki is here for--adding various snippets to files and adding your own data to our growing world.

Elaborating on the Port Liberty University, or providing information on the London Underground--these things are cool. Adding personal pages based on the game or public pages for the same, such as a public series of notes for a staff plot, is also fine.

However, there are certain things to be aware of. First of all, you should not add new, major setting elements without speaking to staff. Adding new dimensions, creating world-spanning ancient metahuman cultures, creating alien races--these things should be discussed with staff first. In many cases, they'll just tell you to write it up and +request it, then tell you to add it if it looks good.

Basically, ask yourself this: does adding this cause a major impact in the world setting, or is something that staff might want some say on? If so, speak to C2's staff first. Otherwise, go to it.

Note that the Wiki is a privilege, and that Staff retains the right to roll back or delete any page when necessary. Also, anyone maliciously editing content will be banned from the wiki and gain at least one game warning, and possibly more. Please, don't make us do this.
