Agony, real name LaToya King, is a contract assassin well-known in criminal circles, one-third of Agony, Misery and Woe.

King was originally a small-time crook, specializing in auto theft, known by her girl gang handle Black Orchid. She was granted incredible strength and resilience in the wake of the Ring of Destiny, along with an increase in height and muscle mass. Dubbed Agony by the woman called Woe, she has been working as a contract assassin ever since.
